The Robot Art Gallery
Robot is located in the heart of the Southtown Arts District within the King William Neighborhood. The gallery, which opened in 2002, shows contemporary artwork by emerging artists within the space of the ROBOT design studio. The 1500 square foot, loft-style space is designed to function as both a design studio and art gallery with movable desks and walls. "The space is continually changing, with new sources of inspiration on the walls every few months," says Lara August, owner of the design studio and gallery.

Partnerships with Retail Spaces
In an effort to increase the local visibility of our artists, we have begun partnering with local businesses to show and sell artwork through their storefronts. By partnering with retail stores that have greater levels of traffic and a diverse clientele, we are able to expose a larger group of people to the artwork and target specific markets. Current remote location partners include: The O'Krent Abbey Flooring Center, Luxor Jewelers in the Colonnade and Twin Sisters (downtown location).
